WINDOWS 11 MIGRATION.

Microsoft ended support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025. Computers still running it no longer receive free security updates, leaving your business increasingly exposed to cyber threats and compatibility problems. WeAreLIT plans and delivers your move to Windows 11 as a fully managed project – assessing your devices, upgrading or replacing them, and keeping your team productive throughout.

Why Upgrade Now?

Unsupported operating systems are a prime target for attackers, and running them can put your Cyber Essentials certification, cyber insurance and compliance obligations at risk. Paid extended updates are only a short-term, costly stopgap. Windows 11 brings stronger built-in security, better performance and a modern experience for your team.

Hassle-Free for Your Team

We handle the whole project, from checking which devices are compatible to upgrading, setting up new machines and moving users’ files and settings. Upgrades are scheduled around your business, so your people can keep working with minimal disruption.

WHAT’S INCLUDED.

Device Readiness Assessment

We audit every computer against Windows 11 requirements, including TPM 2.0, processor and storage, and tell you which can be upgraded and which need replacing.

Application Compatibility

We check your business applications, printers and peripherals work properly on Windows 11 before anything is rolled out.

In-Place Upgrades

Compatible devices are upgraded to Windows 11 with users’ files, applications and settings kept intact.

New Device Procurement

Where hardware needs replacing, we source the right business-grade devices at competitive prices and set them up ready to use.

Data & Profile Migration

Files, browser favourites and settings are moved securely from old computers to new ones, so users can pick up where they left off.

Security & Management

Devices are configured with BitLocker encryption, Windows Hello, Microsoft Defender and, where suitable, cloud management through Microsoft Intune.

OUR MIGRATION PROCESS.

1. Assess

We inventory your devices and software, identify what is compatible and produce a clear plan, timeline and budget.

2. Pilot

We upgrade a small group of devices first to test applications and settings, and resolve any issues before the wider rollout.

3. Roll Out

Upgrades and new devices are deployed in planned phases, out of hours where possible, to keep disruption to a minimum.

4. Support & Dispose

We support your users after the upgrade and securely wipe and dispose of retired equipment in an environmentally responsible way.
